How about some more dork talk?

Quick, which Star Trek movie are we watching! A flowchart handy-guide. Print it out and give to your non-Trekkie family members.

Right off the heels of the OMG BEATLES GAME video is the Opening Animation to said Beatles Game. OMG. It's too cute. I'm tempted to make icons. I admit though, it's kind of weird that it just fades out to the game post-psychedelia. We already know there's a rooftop stage for Let It Be...

Admit it: this is the only band game you'll want to buy to see how they do story mode.

The flowchart is awesome, but inaccurate. Search for Spock does indeed suck. Even with Klingon!Doc Brown, it sucks like a giant sucking thing.

IDK, I've watched it twice recently. It doesn't suck, but neither is it awesome. It falls somewhere into the gaping middle of meh.

Merits of Search for Spock: crazy!McCoy - especially the scene where he tries to nerve pinch a guy, Sarek showing up at Kirk's place and being all, "I'm cool with your gay relationship with my son, but you fucking lost his katra?" Uhura cutting a bitch. Kirk not killing that Klingon, just because he was done with death for the day.

Un-merits of Search for Spock: interminably long baby!Spock scenes followed by uncomfortable finger-touching pon farr cut away, the fight scenes in general, long ass Vulcan ritual feels long-ass, annoying recap and long lead up at the beginning because it was before VHS...

What I mean is: it sucks less than the first and fifth one, and it's still better than Genesis.

Very accurate, save for the 6th, which I rather liked, if only to hear Sulu say "FLY HER APART THEN!"

I love 6. I love the evens. I'm so a sheep. Well, I stopped loving the evens at 10. So, technically, I love 2,4,6,8,11. OMG IT'S THE TIME OF THE ODDS NOW!

Does that mean that the sequel is going to suck? :0

I WILL CRY AND CRY AND CRY SOME MORE IF IT DOES.

On the wikipedia page for 11 there's a comment there about how Simon Pegg(I believe it was him) in a previous movie stated that all the odd numbered films sucked, his response "Fate put me here to prove myself wrong"

If anyone can fix things it's Shaun.

Apparently one of the working titles for the reboot was "Star Trek Zero", and thus even, and thus win.

Personally, I'm a fan of a theory I saw over at TWOP once about a sekrit Trek movie that came out between Insurrection and Nemesis, aka Galaxy Quest. Thus, GQ=10=WIN, Nemesis=11=SUCK. ST09=12=MOTHERFUCKINGWIN.

GQ = FTMFW

THEORY = FTMFW*∞

You have almost convinced me to rewatch 3. Or perhaps watch for the first time, because I don't think I've ever sat through the whole thing in one go.

Weirdly, I have a sort of not-quite-hate for 5. UNEXPECTED SPOCK BROTHER FOR THE NOT ENTIRELY LOSE!
