A fair point. They tippy-toe quite around the margins of outright saying this new film is a reboot. (Though it's difficult to imagine how the first scene of X3 happens now, with Xavier walking and being best-gay-uncle with Magneto. It's somewhat easier to imagine two diamond-powered mutants.)
