Hi, I saw this on friendsfriends and really just had to comment, because this kind of made me sit at my desk and sob for a few minutes. Wow. Oh, Trek. Oh.

I read it as Spock showing reboot!Kirk all of the potential that he had to save Earth in order to preserve, even though by necessity it's all going to come out differently this time around. Which, after reading your notes, I see isn't quite what you intended, but which helps me personally balance out your intended reading (which I also very, very much felt while viewing- saying goodbye to all of them. OW.)

Awesome work, thank you for sharing it.

Crying is good! I kind of intended for people to cry. Have a hanky though.

I think that's a decent reading. I think of the whole New!Spock/Spock!Prime section as being very... 'all of this has happened before, all of it will happen again, but differently this time.'

Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I really appreciate it. :D

Okay, it took me a while to figure out why we were seeing the other generations, but I got there in the end.

That's really very affecting. Seeing Spock's journey... Spock's been there for all of it (except Enterprise, which doesn't count).

It's a perfect choice of song. Well done.
