X-Men: Days of Future Past

The casting spoilers for this film have made it leap from 'I love me some X-Men' to 'most anticipated franchise film of 2013'.



So not only are Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart returning as old!Xavier and Magneto, but Shawn Ashmore, Anna Paquin and Ellen Page are returning as Iceman, Rogue and Kitty Pryde. OMG YOU GUYS. That is an excellent lineup of folks!

I also appreciate Brian Singer's commitment on Twitter to telling Brett Ratner to fuck off on every occasion.

I'm looking forward to the return of Kitty and Iceman but, after watching True Blood, I'm a bit weirded out at the thought of a 30 year old Paquin going back to her original hair color and playing a teenager.
