MSNBC yanks Keith Olbermann from general election coverage.

Also, Chris Matthews, but who gives a shit about that. Guys, you really want to suck at ratings, don't you? Also, ascribe me to the theory that it was Keith going OFF on them about 9/11 that sunk it for them, because often times in life you get punished for doing what is right.

Agreed. I saw that moment and, while I was cheering the fact that he had done the right thing, my immediate reaction was, "If they don't fire him or something, it will be a miracle."

This makes me want to puke. So now we'll have nothing but John McCain ass-kissing for the rest of the season. And they'll keep around Pat Buchanan, of course, because he's so neutral. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK.

Yeah, I'm pretty disgusted. I guess Keith will be there 'as a commentator', which means that he and Rachel can continue to beat the living tar out of poor Pat.

(IDK, Keith usually treats him kindly like your crazy grandpa -- it's Rachel Maddow who shoots flames out of her eyes. It's because you can SO TELL that Pat Buchanan calling gays and lesbians out twenty years ago was a formative experience for her self identity.)

When I saw the 9/11 comment, I went looking for an email address for preferably Mr. Olbermann or MSNBC to say, basically, yay and thank you. No success on the former - do you happen to know how I can contact him? He deserves as many kudos as possible, and evidently a better employer.

Leave a comment for him on his dailykos (http://keith-olbermann.dailykos.com/)?

This just makes me more upset.

I guess it was on the cards after his comments the other night.

often times in life you get punished for doing what is right.

Yeah. And it sucks.
