I FUCKING HATE SHOPPING:

I was at Dillard's because my brother wanted to pick up some more school clothes, so I wandered upstairs and somehow ended up in the Junior's dress section. Where they were having an AMAZING clearance sale on summer dresses - and I found one I loved marked down 75% to SEVENTEEN FUCKING DOLLARS. Except... it was a size thirteen and I just miss the mark there.

So it didn't fit and I was bummed out, but I resolved to buy it online instead. Guess what? Apparently Dillard's doesn't even CARRY size 13+ Juniors clothes anymore. It's not even an option online.

What the fuck, Dillard's, you used to be reliable. You were my game day fat girl at the prom player. Way to let us all down.

I hate to say it, but I think you're headed past the Junior sizes and into the misses... :(

Eh, Dillard's doesn't make a distinction between Juniors and Misses and their women's clothes are both fugly AND at a weirdly higher price point.

Also, I still wear pants I bought in HS, so my giant ass being too big shouldn't be the issue. They just stopped carrying clothes for fat teen girls.

Actually, it's even worse than that...they choose which stores to put the 13+ clothes in based on "neighborhood demographics". Like, The Dillard's my mom works at in Scottsdale, they don't go past a 12/13. But if you were to drive all the way to the ghetto barrio/hoods of West Phoenix, The Juniors department goes up to 22/24. Grant it, it's not pretty dresses and mini-skirts or anything, but they do have jeans and tops.

Dillard's is ridiculousness wrapped inside of fail. If not for the associate discount and freebies, I would never go there for anything. ever.

This was the Dillards in Meadows! They have no excuse.

I'm disappointed, Dillard's. You used to do so well with such things.

The store I used to work at had XL shirts in Juniors that even I could wear...though the thing I miss the most is petite short jeans in Liz Claiborne, Levi's (my favorite), and by the time I left they even had them in DKNY.

Then again, I haven't been back there since I left in 2007. Has that much changed?
