I went to visit Cooper's mother in the hospital. Something to do with her bones. I thought it was a nice gesture, and it was, and I really genuinely like her. She's one of the few people on the planet who can tell me when I'm wrong without me getting irritable at them and only because I know she knows things.

Also, it's easier for her to tell me to be nicer to my mother because, having spent so little time with her she doesn't know what an unpleasant person my mother can be. She's right about that too, because being nice to people despite their own behavior is its own reward.

Anyway: an article about fixing the FAFSA. It's a really scary form, especially since I know that lots of rich people have their accountants massage it to max benefits which is completely not the point of FAFSA.

It would be less creepy for me, family members whom I know are ghost-reading the blog, if you'd just get an LJ account and comment occasionally.

I think I'm going to start using LJ toys to IP log again. When I figure out which ones of you besides Tim are reading it all the time, I will call you and bitchfit at you. 'Cause I have a goddamn phone number, email address and a facebook. And facebook will give you a much clearer idea of what I'm doing in real life that's relevant to your interests, because 9/10ths of this journal is inane fandom dribble.

This is your one warning. Because I don't want to have to use Friend's Lock or banhammer the journal. I don't believe in those things. Get a facebook, friend me, and talk to me there.
