Today, after breakfast, I stole the car from my mother and took my brother out hiking at Red Rock. Then we went to the library because it was library amnesty week -- but also so he could use the internet. While he did that I read a book called 'American Buffalo' about a guy who went out to Alaska, tracked down and killed a Buffalo. I always like reading about that sort of thing.

Alas, while we were out the Cox Cable guy came out, and apparently being GROSSLY UNQUALIFIED, spent two hours knocking around before concluding that the problem was the tower to my mother's disgusting virus infected computer and manually hooking my brother's computer up to the firewire.

I wish I had a job where I made shit tons of money while still being stunningly inadequate at the job I was hired to perform.

But it IS a truth universally acknowledged that the cable guy who comes out to your house knows fuckall about fixing the wifi signal, but the Indian IT guy they probably pay three cents on the dollar can fix it in five seconds.

I bought a new router, though, and my dad threw the box away. Pah, pah, fie!
