Well, score one for Apple. My iPod shuffle still works. (I had to reinstall iTunes though, and iTunes is currently chugging through the 40gigs or so of music I own, so it's going to take a while to be sure.)

I went to Steve and Barry's today; I think that place is my new favorite place in the world. I got some cute jeans for 8.98 and a tiny leather-and-sweater jacket. Anyway, really hope it doesn't go under and that the Meadows store can stay open for a while -- the good Vegas H&M is SO hard to get to if you don't have a car.

I also bought some art supplies; so I'm pretty broke until next payday.

Michelle Obama is cute. I'm pretty depressed about the poll numbers.

I'm missing Chicago like burning because my life was so much richer and better there. I liked who I was when I lived there. I realize that the challenge is to like myself where ever I happen to be, it's just slow rowing.

Finally, it rained today, which is probably why I felt like going out to do things.

As someone from the other end of the world, I'm just incredulous that there's a chance that another Republican will win. After everything that's gone on and how unpopular Shrub is... How is McCain even in the race?

My friend's republican extended family are so wallet-raped by the economy they're actively and vocally supporting Obama.

Yeah, we're all shocked about that one. One theory is that it's a trick and when we've been lulled into a false sense of security they'll release a bear.
