Rachel Maddow's Pull List
Apr. 6th, 2009 10:02 pmOH RACHEL. <3 <3 <3
I question 'Identity Crisis', but well, sometimes we just got to bite it and read the shitty multiverse events because we want to be up to date. Also, I love that she's creeped out about the subtext in Fables.

The Zero Game was actually so bad I threw it across the room in my high school government class. And, damn, did it feel good.
You're breakin' my heart, Rachel, is what I'm sayin'.

In order to know what the new rebooted continuity is, if you're a fan, you have to buy the miniseries that reboots the continuity. (By tradition, all the DC events are CRISIS something, going back to the first, CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS.)
I'm going to guess and say that Rachel probably didn't think Infinite Crisis was very good because most people thought it sucked crap in a bag. But if you want to follow the big arc of the DC universe, you have to read these stories. Indeed, Infinite Crisis is shitty misogynistic dreckery -- google the phrase "The Rape Pages Are In!" for more.
