Crazy political rumor of the day: McCain only picked Palin so that he can dump her and pick Jindal when he proves to get Louisiana through the storm. (Wish I could find a really good link for this one, just trust me, it's going around.)

Oh, and another good one: McCain chose Palin because he was angry he couldn't choose his boyfriend Lieberman, and his choice of Palin is just sticking it to the party.

Bobby Jindal has said over and over he's committed to Louisiana. He's too socially conservative for my tastes, but we want him to stay where he is so he can keep doing an overall good job. He can run for national office when he's older and we're done with him.
