Dec. 15th, 2008 10:47 amIt started snowing at around 10am, so my mother yelped to wake us up. (I maintain that I was perfectly awake, dammit, merely deeply thinking.) I sniffed and went over to the window, where the big fat fluffy flakes were plopping wet onto sidewalk. "But it's not sticking."
And then I made myself some coffee.
But by God, wouldn't you know it, but it has now started to stick. Las Vegas snow has been achieved! I must say it's giving no signs of stopping so we may indeed end up with an inch or two.

However, since we're plumb in the middle of the Rockies, my sister snowboards almost every day because she just leaves the valley for Mount Charleston. It's about an hour's drive.
